Realization

When I look inside and see
that I am nothing,
that is wisdom.

When I look outside and see
that I am everything,
that is love.

And between those two,
my life turns.

Nice aphoristic teaching ....

this has always struck me as one of the most interesting aspects of what is .. the interplay of compassion and love with emptiness ... method and wisdom, etc ....

'nothing/wisdom' and 'everything/love' in your quote

thank you for this teaching ...

When I realize that there is no inside nor outside, that is understanding.

Here is a variation of this quote I found this morning:

Wisdom tells me I am nothing.
Love tells me I am everything.
Between the two my life flows.
