What do we bring?

The wanderer does not bring a handful of earth,
the unutterable, from the mountain slope
to the valley, but a pure word he has learned,
the blue and yellow gentian.

R. M. Rilke

Hmmm. I guess that's right. We have nothing to bring but ourselves, and we are only consciousness.

The human tester is posing nemabojk as the pure word it brings :-)

A lovely bit of Rilke, one of my favorite poets :) Like Moses bringing a pure word down from the mountain.
