Though I am Old

Though I am old with wandering
Through hollow lands and hilly lands,
I will find out where she has gone,
And kiss her lips and take her hands;
And walk among long dappled grass,
And pluck till time and times are done
The silver apples of the moon,
The golden apples of the sun.

I like this. Sometimes I wish blogs just had a "Like" option, like Facebook, for when there's really nothing to add, except, hey, I like this!

Anyway, I learned that Yeats is the author of that line, "the golden apples of the sun." I had thought it was Shakespeare. It's the title of a short story collection by Ray Bradbury I read as a kid.

Especially love this one. Sweet and bitter and filled with awe.

Bright shining blog too. Happy it is around for reflections, space and silence.

Namaste.
