For Isaiah and Friends

This is a picture of Manzanita beach, taken from the banks of Neakahnie Mountain on the northern Oregon coastline. This is where I spent summers as a child. It is so beautiful here, where sand and water and sky meet, where birds and children play. There is a soul of place here, on this beach, where four generations of my family have walked, collected, surfed, picnicked, and enjoyed bonfires at night. We love to share this with friends. Come, be our guest!

Thanks M-

This picture is breathtaking. I'm glad you still walk the sands remembering family and joyious moments.

Oh! to get away and come visit you in Oregon..would be so nice, such a break. Perhaps one day we'll do just this.

Thanks!

Meredith... what a lovely site you have here... beautiful Heart-full Presence... Soft and Poetic...

There is nothing quite like Ocean beaches... I lived in Mexico for some time...right on the water... it's rhythm became my rhythm... It lulled me and held me at night as I slept, played with me during the days as I worked, and became my meditation at night... now in Colorado, it feels so quiet and still... yet, the Ocean is inside of me... yes...

Beautiful indeed :) I live on the ocean in Sag Harbor, almost at the end of Long Island, with beaches and dunes and hills, and quiet. It is lovely in the fall when the tourists leave. All are invited :)

Thanks for sharing with us a piece of your past. Maybe it will become a piece of my past one day too. I would love to visit sometime as I have never been to that part of the country. I hear Washington and Oregon are both beautiful places! I extend an invite to all to come to Alaska! It's one big giant postcard!

Love,
cj

Hi CJ

Good to hear from you. How are you doing?

I smiled at your Alaska is "one big giant postcard" because when I see your pictures from there, that is exactly what it looks like - so very beautiful. I love that you share it with us. For more pictures from Oregon, visit my friend Amy's blog, Hippipix. She captures the diversity of Oregon very well. And if you come this way, I'd love to meet you!

Blessings to you,
Meredith
