Awake Silence

All that is necessary to awaken to yourself
as the radiant emptiness of spirit
is to stop seeking something
more or better or different,
and turn your attention inward
to the awake silence that you are.

I second that on Adya... A very beautiful soul, gently urging us on in the way within.

BTW, have you been to Pure Silence? Awake Silence reminded me very much of Mark McCloskey's "pure silence."

Kathleen,
There is a particular vibration with Adya, yes? Exposure to this resonance brings sweetness and beauty.

Jon, thank you for that link. I had not heard of Mark McCloskey before. I'll check out his essays.

Tommy,
A smile for you; I linked the quote to Adya's site.

Blessings to you, dear friends,

Lovely :) In the Nimatullahi Sufi Order houses, there is a sign that says:

Silence, for breath is a Godsend.

Ya Haqq (the Truth)

There's something about Adyashanti that resonates with me...

I enjoy reading and re-reading (it usually takes that, I like it) your blog, and am glad to see it more active. :)
